The Scottish Educations Awards 2013 finalists have been announced! The full list can be seen here, and we would like to add our congratulations to all the schools and individuals who are all now planning the trip to the Awards Ceremony on the 10th of June - we look forward to seeing you there.

Huge congratulations to Angus on his Everest expedition - he's done it!! This morning at 1.22am (UK time) Gus made it to the top - the photo below is from Base Camp.

We wish Angus and safe journey back down, and then home!

Angus has been raising funds to launch a play-park project to take play park hardware to Nepal for installing in communities and schools there. To read about his experience and for more information about the project:

Bring your Child to Work Day

15th May 2013

Kaspar came to work with his mum a couple of weeks ago, as part of Perth & Kinross' "bring a child to work day" initiative, and enjoyed his Caledonia Play working day - helping in the yard and the office. Kaspar went through the whole advertising process - from a photography session, to photo manipulation and advert production, the results of which, I think you'll agree, are great!

Thank you, Kaspar, for all your help, and hopefully we've given you some ideas for a future career - maybe not one involving sharks tho...

The photo session also allowed us to produce our advert for the Scottish Education Awards brochure - preparations are hotting up for the announcement of the finalists and then the glittering Awards Ceremony on the 10th June.

Show Season is GO!

The sun is shining on Badminton Horse Trials which is on until Monday the 6th, and we're moving smartly onto Malvern Spring Show on the 9th - come and say "hello" and see the quality of our play equipment first hand!

Spring is coming!

It's been cold for months, the snowdrops are still blooming, but Spring is on it's way, hopefully followed by a well deserved good summer!

Our Spring advertising campaign is well under way (did you spot us in Scotland on Sunday's "Home" supplement last weekend?) and we're busy getting organised for all the Shows coming up - Badminton Horse Trials are only three weeks away.

And lots of people are placing orders, with the double swing (DFA) proving particualrly popular this year -  it's a simple and attractive way to add play to your garden, and the bonus is that both chldren and adults can enjoy it.
